James Joseph Parsons (born March 24, 1973) is an American actor and producer. His acting career has undoubtedly reached greater heights since his sitcom heydays. The American actor first charmed (and annoyed) us when he played the eccentric genius, Dr. Sheldon Cooper, in the hit comedy series The Big Bang Theory.
