STEPHEN COLBERT AND EVELYN MCGEE-COLBERT – 27 YEARS

The Late Show comedian host Stephen Colbert doesn’t only have a successful career in the entertainment industry— his love life has always been so wonderful. After all, he is with the woman of his dreams, Evelyn McGee-Colbert, for nearly three decades now. While there is little known about Stephen’s lady love, what we do know is that Evelyn got her degree at the University of Virginia College of Arts and Sciences in 1985, majoring in Drama and English.

These two love birds met in Charleston while Stephen was visiting his mother, who asked him to come to the Spoleto Festival. There, he met Evelyn in a stunning black linen dress. They were only getting to know each other when Stephen thought she was from out of town; little did he know that they have known each other ever since they were little. It was fate that brought them together. He told himself he would marry her one day— and he eventually did.
