TIMOTHEE CHALAMET
In just under three years, Timothee Chalamet went from being a rookie actor to today’s latest it-boy. We’re not surprised, though, given that he’s incredibly talented and quite easy on the eyes. In the years that led to his big break, Timothee starred in several small roles, which included an acting credit from the Oscar-winning sci-fi film Interstellar. The role surely leveraged Timothee in Hollywood, but it was not enough to get Timothee to the top of the acting industry. Fortunately, a massive break came his way in 2017 in the form of Call Me By Your Name, a coming of age film that eventually earned him his very first Academy Award nomination. Since then, Timothee has made tremendous career strides and a massive fan following to boot.
COLE SPROUSE
Unlike the rest of the men on this list, Cole Sprouse has actually been making people fall in love with him since he was four years old. Cole started his career alongside his twin brother Dylan Sprouse and made their acting debut in the film Bid Daddy. During their childhood, the twins starred as Zack and Cody in the Disney series Suite Life of Zack and Cody, which was later followed by the spin-off series Suite Life On Deck, which was filmed during the twins teenage years. After the series ended, both Cole and Dylan decided to take some time off from acting and focus on their college education. After finishing their degree, Cole decided to go back to acting and was ultimately hired to play the character Jughead in the Netflix series Riverdale. Ever since Cole came back to the spotlight, he has received nothing but praises and admiration from both old and new fans.
ZAC EFRON
At some point in Zac Efron’s young life, he enjoyed the luxury of being everyone’s number one crush. But who could blame us, though? When you’re thirteen and obsessed with High School Musical, you’re definitely bound to fall head over heels in love with Zac, aka Troy Bolton. However, Zac has long shed his HSM persona and has moved on to a more masculine and manly image. Today, Zac boasts an extensive list of acting credits, which proves his range as an actor. From being a ball-shooting teenager in HSM to being a madman in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile, Zac Efron has done it all. And with more projects lined up for him, we’re certain Zac’s followers will continue to rise in the coming years.
MICHAEL B. JORDAN
Michael B. Jordan may have played a vengeful villain in the film Black Panther, but it certainly did not stop us from crushing hard on him. The American actor got his start in the industry by modeling as a child. He was able to nab some good modeling gigs with brands like Toys R Us and Modell’s Sporting Goods before deciding to pursue acting full-time in 1999. His first acting credits included appearances in TV shows like The Sopranos and Cosby. His commercial breakthrough came when he was cast to play the role of Jamal in the Keanu Reeves film, Hardball. Soon after, Michael started to score more and more roles until he eventually landed on the cast of Black Panther, as the character Killmonger. Today, Michael is among the most promising up and coming stars and one the best freshest new leading men in the industry.
LIAM HEMSWORTH
The Hemsworth surely has some crazy good looking genes as both brothers land a spot on this list. This time though, let’s focus our attention on the younger brother, Liam Hemsworth, who is best known for his character Gale in the movie adaptation of The Hunger Games. Liam first got into acting as a child star back in Australia and ultimately pursued a career in Hollywood. In 2010, Liam scored his very first American film, The Last Song, where he starred opposite Miley Cyrus. However, it was the dystopian film The Hunger Games that increased Liam’s fame by a massive degree. Today, Liam is regarded as one of Hollywood’s most dashing leading men and one of the most sought-after talents.
KIM TAEHYUNG aka “V”
As the internet makes the entertainment industry wider and wider, we are able to see more and more talents from different parts of the world. This time, let’s bring our attention to the stylish and extravagant world of K-Pop where Kim Taehyung, or more known to the public as V, first made headlines. Taehyung rose into international superstardom as a member of the Korean Pop boy group BTS. Thanks to his boyish charm and insane performance skills, Taehyung was able to stand out amongst his bandmates. Out of the seven of them today, it’s believed that Taehyung has the most fans. That’s saying a lot for a boyband of their caliber! However, their fame doesn’t stop here. With the K-pop industry thriving internationally and BTS leading the way, we can only expect Taehyung’s influence to grow by a huge degree.
TOM HOLLAND
Next up on our list is the youngest Avenger in the MCU, Tom Holland. The British actor immediately shot up to superstardom when he became the latest actor to don the iconic Spiderman suit following fellow British actor, Andrew Garfield. People didn’t quite know what to expect when Tom took on the role, but he surely did not disappoint. Not only was he weirdly charming, but he was also quite funny, making him perfect for the role. Following his superhero debut, Tom scored a slew of acting credits, which later earned him the award for Rising Actor in the BAFTA. Now, Tom continues to expand his acting portfolio by exploring several other genres. Recently, Tom starred alongside Robert Pattinson, Sebastian Stan, and Mia Wasikowska in the Netflix film The Devil All The Time.
HARRY STYLES
Former One Direction frontman Harry Styles has gone a long way from being a wide-eyed teenager in the small town of Cheshire, England. Since 1D’s disbanding, each of its former members has pursued solo careers in music. Harry decided to venture further into the industry by dipping his toes into some acting. Of course, his fans were more than supportive and cheered the young British singer on in every endeavor he took. Today, Harry is one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Not only is he an accomplished singer, but he’s also on his way to becoming a certified film star with a budding acting career. So far, Harry has earned an acting credit from Christopher Nolan’s Academy Award-winning film, Dunkirk. The artist is also set to star alongside British actress Florence Pugh in an upcoming movie called Don’t Worry, Darling, which might just help him cement his place in Hollywood as an up and coming leading man. Oh, and did we mention he’s also set to act in Marvel’s The Eternals? Pretty exciting!
CHRIS EVANS
The Marvel Cinematic Universe would not be where it is today without the likes of Chris Evans, aka Captain America/Steve Rogers. Along with his acting chops, Chris also brought his dashing good looks and all-American charm to the franchise, and it undoubtedly played to Marvel’s advantage. It’s not that Marvel had a shortage of loyal fans, but placing Chris front and center certainly raked in some more attention. However, Chris is so much more than just his good looks. The actor is also a firm supporter of the LGBTQ+ and Black Lives Matter movement and has voiced his support for years. Much like his role in the MCU, having Chris’s name on any charity and cultural initiatives will certainly further the movement to a large degree. Chris really is the whole package. He’s smart, charming, and a responsible celebrity. No wonder everyone’s falling head over heels for him.
CHRIS HEMSWORTH
From Chris Evans, let’s now shift our focus to thunder wielding Avenger Thor, aka Chris Hemsworth. Hailing from the land down under, Chris started his career in acting with a few acting roles on Australian television. He moved to the United States in 2009 after being offered the role of James T. Kirk in the film Star Trek. The role was initially offered to Hollywood veteran Matt Damon who eventually declined the offer. The part ultimately kick-started Chris’s career in Hollywood. After appearing in the film, several acting credits came towards Chris’s way. Unlike the other original Avengers, Chris will still reprise his role as the god of thunder well into the MCU’s phase four. So for those of you who are sad to see some of the original casts go, you can breathe in relief as Thor is still in the new phase of the cinematic realm. Hooray!
